Aaron and Laura have been playing flyball since 1988 when they lived in Winnipeg. At that time they were active members of Allsorts Dogsports group with Shadow a tri colour Sheltie and Niki a sable Sheltie . Aaron with Shadow with Laura and Niki took part in tournaments in Minneapolis and Kansas City and Vancouver as well as doing utility and open work in CKC obedience trials in BC Alberta, and Manitoba. They also participated in Superdogs in Winnipeg, Vancouver, and Toronto(Royal Winter Fair).
After moving from Winnipeg to Victoria in 1990 they proceeded to start serious flyball training a group of enthusiasts. Soon the group would be known as the Capital Comets, and were in the top 20 teams in the NAFA standings. They got two new dogs, Laci a Sheltie and Misty a rescued Border Collie, soon a second team was needed and the Kids in the Field were formed.
Shadow and Niki were both retired with there UD's and FbCh's. The new dogs are running with Misty at 12000 NAFA points and Laci with 10500 NAFA points, and the main stays of the main team at tournaments.
Since 1990 Aaron and Laura have Hosted many Tournaments in Victoria, The last being in Sept. 96 with 12 multi breed teams and 22 regular teams over two days, a record for Vancouver Island.
